The Sky has a sheen about it.
Quiet. Still
It’ll snow soon.
Small mean flakes.
Cold to the bone
And death to breathe in.
The last leaves of autumn shiver
In the wind
that torments them.
Winter is coming
For the old and the poor.
as summer's death rattle
wheezes out in their breath.
